1. The first character I fell in love with:
Layton derp. Truth be told I found Luke kind of useless and uncharacterized in Curious Village so I never really got around to liking him that much. Layton was just cooler and a total sweetheart.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
UMMM there are a couple. Luke, who is bland in the first game, is so adorable and lovable by the third and he needs a hug amirite. Then there’s Claire who is a total babe and a BAMF and somehow I still love her even though the romance quartet around her is 100% Mary Sue quality. And also Descole! I haven’t played Specter’s Flute since my Japanese is only at beginner’s level, but in the movie he’s such a Large Ham and a drama queen that I can’t help but think he’s awesome.

W-well. The Professor Layton style doesn’t really…. Make any character hot. Like… they’re cartoons. I don’t want to shag cartoons.

Oh and Bill Hawks. Because he’s a arrogant dickwad and I want to see him put in prison. I’d gladly slap him all the way there.

Dude idek. Layton, Luke and Claire? But I love Don Paolo (especially Don Paolo he is so great), Clive, Chelmey, Barton… lots of other characters.
6. Least favourite characters?
Hnnnnn I’ll go out and say that Flora annoys me, especially in Unwound Future. It’s just that she’s always the damsel in distress and too happy go lucky in Future London where so many lives are at stake and its super srs bsnz. Don’t get me wrong Flora is adorable and I love her outside of the actual game but in-game she’s too naïve for me to really like.
I really didn’t like Dahlia either.
7. What are my 3 favorite pairings?
See answer 3: it is hard for me to think of any character in that way, so it’s hard to ship any fanpairing because I just keep thinking - “Cartoons getting it on is not hot.”
But I’m a super dooper supporter of Layton/Claire. Canon, I know, but it’s such a tragic heartbreaking romance and they are made for each other a;alskjgfh. It’s pretty much the only main character pairing I support, though Anthony/Sophie is cute too, if dysfunctional. And okay Flora/Clive has a bit of potential since I can actually see it happening.
8. A pairing that I despise:
Layton/Little!Luke.
I did read a wonderful and realistic fic about Luke growing up and crushing on Layton as an adult, and I didn’t mind that. But the idea of them having a relationship of anything outside friendship when Luke is thirteen and Layton thirty seven is total squick material for me ew ew ew
I suppose an AU where they’re around the same age is more tolerable though and unlike other fan pairings it could actually make sense given that they’re such bros.

I’m probably a combination of Flora and Luke - Flora because she’s a pushover and can’t get suitably angry at people/express that anger outside of passive-aggressiveness, and Luke because he’s more gung-ho and chipper than Flora and actually does things.
And maybe a little bit of Layton since he’s so mild and such a pacifist. My RL friends always say that I am a super mellow/chilled-out person, so. And I love history and archaeology. Too bad I’m absolutely terrible at puzzles and nowhere near as smart as Layton, or as gentlemanly haha.

Don’t get me wrong it was cool and all but the characterization would have been so much more interesting had it been given time in a book. You can’t fit cool gun fights and trippy landscape folding in AS WELL as character development THERE IS TOO MUCHHHH.

If I can remember… I thought Edgeworth was a massive twat the first time I faced him. I knew enough about Phoenix Wright to think “isn’t this guy super popular? He seems like a real asshole to me, I don’t like him at all.” Of course, the game is supposed to introduce him like that and once he gets such great character development it’s almost impossible not to respect him as a character because he’s just so multi-dimensional, well developed, and a total nerd.
3. The character I would shag anytime:
Errmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Klavier?
Because he’s a rockstar and adorable?
Lang and Diego are total hotties too but too bad Diego is a douche amirite

Well, Miles needs to stop emoing so much. Maybe he should be sent off to a Steel Samurai summer camp or something that might make him less of a stick-up-the-ass.

Aside from these guys though, I love all the villains (especially Matt, Atmey, Gantt and Shelly). As well as Godot, Oldbag (I LOVE her holy crap), Will, Inni, Angel, Badd, Frannie and Dahlia (because she is so deliciously evil).
So pretty much like, everyone. Ever.

I found Acro disgustingly unsympathetic. Sorry. I just don’t see why I should be expected to sympathize with someone who’s committed murder. Sure it’s terribly tragic what happened to him and his brother, but… :|

SAFAJH:LDJH I SHIP PHOENIX/MAYA SO HARD. Like idek I think they’re super super cute together and were practically made for each other, they’re my OTP. I will be disappoint if they don’t get any adorable moments in the Layton crossover. And Layton will be all “you are not a gentlemen sir don’t you know how to treat a beautiful lady this is preposterous” at Phoenix.
Of course Mia/Diego is great; Lana/Angel is hot; and Atmey/Everyone is the best because ahahaha you know he would do anything for attention. Klavier/Apollo is something that I don’t all out support, but I do think it’s super cute especially since Klavier wants in his pants so badly. Also, Lang and Edgeworth have such great chemistry that I am very tempted to ship them.

I just can’t see them as anything except friends; having a super close bromance/being Hetrosexual Life Parters, yes, but I view Edgeworth as being either too straight or too asexual for me to consider it.
If a fic is well written or the art great, I don’t mind them together, but I don’t actively go looking for anything of them. It’s pretty obvious that Phoenix, at least, is canonically straight.

A combination of Phoenix, Penny and Vera. Phoenix because I’m such a tard and am too much of a pacifist to be any real help; Penny because she’s nerdy and screws everything up; and Vera because I love art and usually stay cooped up indoors too much.

That it’s just so well written and each and every single character in intensely charismatic.
And that LAYTON AND PHOENIX WILL BE A GAME TOGETHER AND THAT IS A FACT.

I actually requested this on the fanfic meme. Phoenix is a lawyer struggling to meet ends meet in a corrupt court system; Edgeworth and Gumshoe are partnered Blade Runners; and Maya is a young girl accused of commiting a crime and Phoenix ends up defending her. The only problem is that Maya, in truth, is a Replicate on the run from Edgeworth - she has the ability to access the digital memories of dead replicates and some how has uncovered a conspiracy by using this power (via her older-version twin, Mia, who has been killed).
13. What story I wish I had written/still want to write:
I had this fic idea where Maya tries to teach and explain the meanings of certain flowers to Phoenix, which ends - predictably - with them getting together.
What can I say except that I ship them so hard.
