Oh no, poor George. I'm so sorry to hear that. At least you still have Lenny to lavish with love and extra attention. Personally I don't think that I can bear to have pets again. One can only go through so much of this sort of trauma. It's utterly devastating.

Good however to hear about Richard III. Didn't realise that Trigger was involved! I'm going to watch Al Pacino's 'Looking for Richard' on dvd as prep before going to the Globe next month. Doesn't that revolve around rehearsing the Spacey version with Pacino directing...? You can tell that I haven't had time to even read the blurb on the box properly yet!

As I get older I find it increasingly difficult to filter out distracting surrounding sound when I'm trying to focus on something - thus I get furious with popcorn eaters and sweetie paper rustlers, etc whether at the cinema or in my own living room! But it's inexplicable why people would pay to attend a concert and then turn their backs. Just downright rude really. :-/

I bought the Waiting for Richard DVD and it's good to get you up to speed on the play. Spacey is younger and plays Buckingham I think.

Took some time out to watch 'Looking for Richard' this afternoon, and I must say that it was both a revelation regarding Al Pacino, plus the perfect prep for seeing the play, covering as it did the main characters and their motivations. Loved it. :-)

Oh what fun! The Duchess of York looks especially attractive, and who could resist the charms of the beautiful Lady Anne? LOL! But Mark's not looking as dark and dastardly as I'd imagined. Looks quite the jolly monarch in these pics. Not at all like the snippet we see of him performing the same role in Anonymous. Interesting!
