Good Things Die Too...
So, I was just trolling the 'ol web when I hit the Fantasm site and discovered, much to my dismay, that this years Fantasm is the /last/ Fantasm ever. Wow... what a fucking kick in the teeth. Now, maybe, in the case of those more "plugged in" than I am (and I'm pretty much absent from the damn radar these days) this isn't a surprise. I haven't been able to discover why exactly the con is breathing its last breath. But it is.
So I'll definately be there. Thats a damn certainty.
Chattacon... man the prices keep going up. Its getting really expensive to be a geek. Ah well. Who's going? I definately want to, and I certainly want to get a room, but I'll need a team of crack people who do not suck to stay with me (or who will graciously allow me to sleep near their shoes). Anybody going this year?
