Anyhow, now that I'm employed, I'm honestly considering moving. Probably going to shoot for WITHIN the next 2-3 months. It's not something I want to do.
Anyone know anyone who needs a roommate in South bay, close to a VTA light rail or public transportation? I'm lookin' around, but don't know anyone presently who could be able to move in with me. I'm kinda want to to do this within the next 2-3 months (including this upcoming month).
The Commute I'm currently taking has barely any traffic. It just takes 40 minutes to get there, and 15 minutes of that is just driving through Fremont (I tried driving using the freeways, but that took at least 25 minutes to get to same point). Not to mention that gas prices are just goin' up, and, although I didn't use much gas while unemployed, just don't want to fill the tank 1-2 times a week, ouch.
Work is only a few blocks from VTA, would love to walk out door, pop into the train, and head over. Where I live now is completely barren of easy public transport. BART is easy to get to, and maybe caltrain if I went to palo alto. But it'll take at least 2 hours or more to get to work. Heck, it takes 30 minutes to get to a park and ride that I can access easy to get to VTA, might as well drive the remaining 10-15 min to work. With gas prices the way they're going, would love to get another place.
