Wow. Urban Spoon (www.urbanspoon.com) is kinda getting Huntsville stuff going... Been watching it over the last few months (since the iPhone app came out for us), and they've got a pretty good list of restaurants going

I mean it weirds me out that the Rosie's guy owns Blue Plate, and I could probably eat there every week if/when I get dragged there by work people (never a bad thing)... Like I told V, I'm going to Rosie's tomorrow for bday lunch! Ha. I knew the guy I work with would pick it.

We like Marcos every now and again... It's hit or miss though.

Hmm... Top 10 list... I know I tweeted about it a while back.

-Tony's (trailer park deli, not the Little Italys)
-Crickets
-Blue Plate
-Mikawa
-Papa Gyros/Jamos (Jamos is expensive for what you get)
-Mellow Mushroom (just open up already. It'll always be an out of town thing until they open)

-Schlotzsky's (there's just something about the bread)
-Charm Thai/Thai Garden
-Wings (I think Christine likes it more than Crickets, and more than me)

See my response to V about 5guys. It's hit or miss too. Never get it to go. But it's exactly how I remember it from D.C. so I guess it's not new to me.

Hmm. There's no Mexican on my list either, because I haven't had anything great lately.

And yes, I've become a food snob too. I cut out the fast food, and I just want to get something 'good' when we go out to dinner now and again.

As far as Urban Spoon's list, yes, I know there's something up with it, or something fishy about the way they calculate results.

I contemplated listing Mellow too, but I figured I couldn't say for sure that ours will be good until I try it. The website says Spring of 09!

I love La Placita. Their salsa is my favorite and the staff is super nice. And it's cheap.

I guess I've been lucky at 5Guys. It's always been great for me.

Yea, I think that it's across the street from Christine @ Liberty, right? I need to meet her over there one day for lunch.

Yea, the Mellow website has said Summer 08, Fall 08, and now finally Spring 09. It was done up outside, but empty on the inside... Agreed that we shall see how it goes Huntsville-style.
