The shooting at Virginia Tech was a reprehensible event. It doesn't make sense for someone to go in and kill as many strangers as possible, so our view of the world is throw into confusion. Very interesting article on Salon. You need to watch a short ad to get to the article but it is worth it.

First it tells me that intelligence is no guarentee of happiness, which seemed a bit obivous to my powerful brain. Then it told me that sex is better then money for happiness which again seems logical since I have the latter and not the former.
