I know I shouldn't hope so much, but I just keep thinking that if Rino asked BFF and fellow Beat Freak/Geminiz member Maryss to be in the choreography vid, it's possible that if there's a solo, popping master Maryss might've been asked to do it and imagining Hyo trying to move like Maryss just makes my brain explode! In other words--if there is a solo--are we gonna get something Rino-flavored or possibly Maryss-flavored?!
Speaking of Hyo, what's wrong? Why so many dancing mistakes in this recent performance?: Part 1, Part 2. She made a mistake in GG @4:37, starting to sweep her arm instead of pointing in the air. Then, in Himnae!, her hairband slipping off @5:28 (lol, too much force in your spin, Hyo!) got her flustered enough to mess up at the pointing part in that song, too. BUT what was awesome about that (aside from other members [YuRi!, Fany!] laughing at her when they went in for the Himnae! Huddle and YuRi glancing over all giggly afterwards) was SooYoung plucking the hairband out of Hyo's back pocket where she'd tucked it away @6:06 and then tossing it aside off stage for her as they changed positions. It was just too cute. (Um, I'm shamelessly in love with seeing SYoung and Hyo interact--there's just such a height difference that it's adorable and they're so snarky with each other. <3) There was actually a lot of giggling all around on stage in this performance. Hyo's new bangs flying around is LOL: at one point she whips her head and her bangs go FLOP and then FLOP back. I wonder who Sunny, Fany, and Hyo were singing at in GG?
Hello Baby was . . . interesting? I'm not sure it'll be fun watching them babysit, to be honest. The opening part was really fun with all the members teasing each other and looking at each other's baby pics (the same ones from their "Dear Mom" performance) and then getting baby care tips and subjected to a baby care test. It felt really unscripted and chillaxed. Sica was missing, probably because she was busy with her duet with MyungSoo?, and Fany was fail, just as predicted. (I'd be exactly like Fany--I do not know how to deal with babies. I don't think I've a maternal bone in my body.) Sunny, though, was awesome with the baby! YoonYul was so excited about the baby, but weren't as all over the poor kid as Sunny and Hyo were, lol. Also, lol SeoHyun complaining about not being picked to answer a question! SooYoung's Shik-Shin-ness also made itself known, lol!
Himnaera Him!'s opening mission was really fun to watch, with all the hidden camera stuff as they tried to find a restaurant serving meat that used honest scales. That felt really chillax, too, when they split off in twos to test restaurants, as if we got to glimpse the way they go out to eat with each other (flashing back to ep. 1 of Factory Girl when the editor was spying on Hyo, Seo, and Yul with their manager). Their incognito disguises consisting of glasses, baseball caps, and hoodies = =D I'm really sad we didn't get to see the HyoTae attempt (if there was one?), as we so rarely get to see those two interacting.* SeoHyun was so cute when she wanted to take off her glasses and Sunny was like, "Don't! You're too pretty (implying she would get recognized)." Those two were so cute. <3 The HyoRi mission was just LOL because Hyo was just sitting there laughing to herself. I've been noticing more HyoRi interaction lately. =) (I think I also like YuRi a lot more off camera. She's actually quite . . . not soft-spoken, but she's a lot less in-your-face. I can see more what her acquaintances mean when they describe her as polite, friendly, and fun.) And, of course, Shik Shin SooYoung! AHAHAHAHAHA! The MCs trying to tell her to leave the restaurant, hahahahahaha.
*I've pointed this out, along with pointing out how Tete once said she felt awkward around Hyo and how they did seem awkward in GGTS (i.e. Hyo teasing Tete and Tete looking a little taken aback at least once), and was told that the two years since then has to have brought them much closer. I agree to an extent but then I remembered that another fan pointed out that both Hyo and Taeng are really huggy people but . . . even when they were celebrating their mutizens on Inki and Music Bank, it was rare to see them hug each other (though they'd be hugging all the other members). HyoTae, do you need to be sent onto Intimate Note?!
Of course, they do seem comfortable with each other in other instances, i.e. we saw them in YoonA's Manwon Happiness being the only two up and about and waking the others up quite comfortably and preparing a "lunch" for YoonA consisting of bitter dark chocolate. =D I guess I feel like they have similar personalities--teasing, witty but tempered with the desire to protect, care, and nurture--and so it makes sense in my head that they should get along really well, but on-camera it just doesn't seem true. D:
