2 things...

Mikey mikes? What in the fuck dude?

There's an old saying "Pick your battles." For all the stress and headache you gave yourself over a minor issue, and no offense anything under 200 bucks is a minor issue to most people, imagine what a big issue such as a death or assault charge would be against you?

Happy you won Mike, but don't start celebrating until you've gotten written notice that they will leave you alone. Until then it's just words being stated, and Indiana's Verbal Agreement's don't stand up in court. And as far as the No Threat Laws in Indiana they can consider threatening words as Verbal Abuse and the problem with that is it's subjective to the people who are listening to it. Nine times out of Ten the Verbally Assaulted/Abused person wins.

Next time something like that happens, write down what you want to say. Carry a piece of paper, text it out, something. Once you get it out of your system you can think better. If you just need to text a venting/angry response text it to me. Especially if it saves you on stress and headaches.

"""Mikey mikes? What in the fuck dude?"""

Vic calls me that when he picks on me /shrug.

"""they can consider threatening words as Verbal Abuse"""

Didn't threaten them with anything other than legal action if they don't back off.

"""Nine times out of Ten the Verbally Assaulted/Abused person wins."""

Then what exactly do you call threatening to report a false claim to the credit bureau if I do not pay what I legally do not owe them?

Threatening to report a false claim isn't verbal assault, Mike. At best it's just harassment which has completely different laws and enforcement. And if they're really smart they can blame harassment on an incompetent employee and promise not to do it again.
