Summary: It all happens because of a plate of sashimi on top of vinegar rice. And love happened.

“Iraisaimase.” Kris called out. His fellow chefs are busy in the kitchen leaving him alone outside. It wasn’t a bad, considering his crush usually enters the sushi bar during closing hours. He is usually eloquent when customers flirt with him, but when that guy walks in, all his suave looks and sharp tongues disappears and dies off.
“Hi, Kris.” The guy smiled and sat down on the bar-stool. “Any good offers today?” he asked and placed his art bag beside him.
“Is salmon sashimi okay with you? Or salmon sushi? Or salmon maki?” Kris stuttered and the guy laughed.
“Kris, anything is fine with me. I trust you with my stomach and a cup of green tea please.” He smiled and Kris tries to think straight.
“Yeah sure, no problem. Take a breather, Joonmyun.” Kris managed to say and ran into the kitchen.
“GUYS! HELP ME.” He whined and his co-worker, Jongdae, sighed.
“Just make him your best sushi. The smoked salmon ones?” Jongdae suggests. “And just get your butt out there and kiss him senseless already. I’m sure he loves you too, Mr. All-girls-swoons-over-the-entire-day.”
Kris nodded and hurried to make it for his crush. After making sure it was perfect, he poured a cup of green tea and went out of the kitchen. His footsteps halted as his sight landed on the guy. His head was tucked in his arms, sound asleep. Kris gently placed the plate and cup down before leaning over Joonmyun and brushes the stray hair off his angelic face.
“You are cute and friendly and…” Kris started and fidgeted at the hem of his shirt.
“Kris, just confess already.” Joonmyun interrupted and grabbed on to Kris’s hand before he could pull away. “I like you a lot. It wasn’t because of my love for sushi that pulled me back to this sushi bar, it was you.”
Kris blinked and looked at Joonmyun before he shakily asked, “Wait, I was supposed to confess. Are you dead serious?”
Joonmyun laughed and stood up from his stool before caressing Kris’s face. “Of course, my dear.”
He lean in and soft kissed Kris’s soft lips. Joonmyun smiled and looked behind Kris’s shoulders.
“Jongdae, you owe me a trip to the Italian restaurant down the street. I heard Yixing is working there for extra cash. Since I have succeeded, it’s your turn.” Joonmyun laughed and Jongdae looked at him in horror.
“No, Joonmyun. Anyone but Yixing… Please.”
Joonmyun laughed and pulled Kris down for another kiss. “So Mr. Handsome, can I invite you to be my model for my newest project?”
Kris nodded and smiled as Joonmyun shoved a piece of sushi into his mouth. “Now eat.”
Maybe, it wasn’t a bad idea to listen to Jongdae.
Yes , this is only a drabble. Hahaha, hope I didn’t disappoint my dearest friends: torakiss , kira_min18 , Coney, Alyssa and Ayesha. Haahaa, hope this can make up for being mia in the pool of Krisho feels.
