"Wow, I almost fainted but then I didn't."

So we moved. It was exhausting. I started ferrying boxes over last Saturday night, we moved the furniture Sunday and Monday, and moved the last of the boxes on Tuesday. We both look like somebody came around and poked us very forcefully with sticks (lots of little round bruises from box corners). But it's almost done. We just have to clean the old apartment and turn in our keys.

We are hiring $#@$@%*#@ movers next time. I'm too old for this, dammit.

I did that "Find Your Spot" thing, and apparently my ideal town is Portland, Oregon. (Interestingly, Seattle didn't make the list.) What REALLY amused me, though, is that my number two city was--get this--Eugene, Oregon (you guys all know I already lived there once, right?). They describe it as having, among other things, "a delightfully bohemian flavor". It also has people who sell meth out of their cars in the Fred Meyer parking lot (at least it did in 1998). Now THAT'S bohemian! (Randomly, my number 24 town was Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Are you freaking kidding me?)

We have cable TV, and as a result, I will never accomplish anything noteworthy again.

That is all.

Edit: Holy fuck it just occurred to me that it's been ten years since I lived in Eugene.
