"Nice to meet you, Rose. Run for your life."

We are officially moving to Beacon Hill, the neighborhood where Kurt Cobain shot himself. (This isn't the reason we're moving there, just a bit of trivia.) We go sign the lease tomorrow, then get out of the tiny tiny place we've been in for almost two years. The new place has a balcony. A BALCONY. I haven't had an apartment with a balcony since 1998, and then it only had two ancient chairs, an ashtray, and 40,000 spiders. This time we have a container garden planned.

I'm excited, but not really looking forward to having to move all our crap, especially since I went to a pilates class at the Y with my supervisor yesterday and now I'm really, really sore. I've been doing pilates at home from a book, but the instructor of the class actually trained with Joseph Pilates, so he's HARDCORE (no pun intended). Oddly, my stomach isn't sore, but my back and my obliques are. I sneezed today and it was excruciating. I totally can't wait to go again.

exercise, moving
