Just occasionally, I am able to tell myself that I'm in a dream and that I need to wake up.  Last night it saved me from drowning after an enormous green wall of water overwhelmed my house.  And I haven't picked up Tolkien in months and months!

Brrrr.

I've been talking to myself again - aka podficcing. While our second-born is away at university, I have turned his bedroom into a padded cell recording suite. The desk is surrounded by pillows and covered with a tablecloth which is topped by a microphone inside a lined shoe box.
