Running at the track gives an accurate measurement of distance--if you can keep the count. Pretty sure I went five miles today though. Was planning to go six. Halfway through mile five decided it wasn't going to happen, then surprised myself by running flat-out the last hundred yards. Finally able to keep a 13 min/mi pace for the entire run too.

Found out that the track has lights. Wasn't sure that it did. If it doesn't get too cold in the early evening I should be able to add the miles needed. Shooting for 13 miles by the end of February.
