Having fooled around on a Secret World trial this weekend, I sort of had the same problem with vehicles. I'm running all over Kingsmouth, dodging zombies of all varieties while passing up scooters, bicycles, motorcycles, etc. And I'm thinking, why can't I pick up one of the mopeds and scooter around a bit? I can pretend it's because the gas tanks have all been siphoned by the survivors, but there are other events that suggest that's not the case...
BTW, I keep hearing people referring to the Kingsmouth zone as being an homage to Innsmouth, but mostly I'm rather reminded of Antonio Bay from John Carpenter's The Fog. Unfortunately I think it's too much of an oblique reference for most people to catch.
Unfortunately, I unsubbed from RIFT this week too. The endless world events that it was generally impossible to keep up with didn't help.

I'm not even a sauridophile and I find that fucking awesome. Also, I have no idea what the actual term I should be using instead of "sauridophile".

I don't hate the world events. It's the holiday shit I hate (straight out of WoW). But playing town games makes it hellishly hard. We're not even attempting RP in Rift. Just gaming.
