Yep. The one night to see this meteor shower is also the one night it's going to be skin-shatteringly cold.
It's shaping up to be one of those sorts of winters I always hated when I was a kid - the "no snow days" kind.

Here it was bright and freezing and dry. It would be perfect January weather if there were actually snow on the ground. I didn't realize we were in for a meteor shower.
