Sun and Shadow

Bright today. Our high was 84.9F.

Kathryn and I had an especially productive late morning talking through the restructuring of The Night Watchers. I want to actually be writing by Thursday, so we only get a couple more of these sessions. Much of what I'll be doing is trimming backstory, which was excessive, to make the novel leaner and more claustrophobic, and creating a more funadmentally amoral cast of characters - no black and white, good and evil, only intent in conflict.

Oh, yesterday when I listed things that took me away from the novel for so long, I neglected to include the chapbook/novella, which ate up at least an entire month.

We finished Band of Brothers tonight. I truly love this series. Later, I watched J. Lee Thompson's Cape Fear (1962), long a favorite on mine.

Please, if you can, consider a purchase from the Dreaming Squid Sundries shop (which are purchases directly from me).

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
