Indeed.

Sunny today, and our high was 86F, with a heat index of 87F.

I was awake at 5 a.m., up and writing at 6, and I did another 1,005 words on "Dark-Adapted Eyes." I'm hoping to finish it on Friday. Not much sleep, but at least there was words.

I also began reading S.E. Hinton's Rumble Fish. The afternoon film was Francis Lawrenece's Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014).

That was today. I've had the office window open all day. Oh, Selwyn had a trip to the vet, which seems to have gone well.

Okay, so...since unexpected expenses keep rising up to swack us in the face, the Rent Party continues. For the firts time we're offering copies of the second edition of From Weird and Distant Shores (2022), cover by Bob Eggleton, and interior art by John Kenn Mortensen. Sold at at the publisher long, long ago. I'm letting go of four of my copies. Please have a look.
