"When is a gift not a gift?"

Feb 13, 2024 16:32

Sunny today, finally, but not very warm. Our high was 55F.

Selwyn had to have a check up at the vet today, but that seems to have gone well. The vet was plaased with how he's bounced back.

And I will be spending Valentine's Day morning (beginning at 8 a.m.) at the damned dentist, an emergency appointment, because I lost another filling. So, that will be most of my tomorrow, Today, though, at least I got back to work. I did some proofreading (the secret). I drew monster doodles. I picked the Bashi matrix sample. And I don't know if I'll sleep tonight, so I will likely get more done.

From the photo below, you can see that the rain did not end before it had flooded out the western parking area.

The afternoon's film was Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part One (2021). I am getting very excited about the second film.

Last night, late, I watched the first two episodes of the Halo series. I've never even played the game, but I was suckered in by Pablo Schreiber. We're not talking great TV, by any stretch, but it's watchable.

Peter Gabriel turned 74 today.

Talk to you tomorrow, after the dentist. Until then, please visit the Dreaming Squid Sundries shop. This money has to come from somewhere.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
