Taylor Swift seems to have become the one thing that MAGA fears even more than Hillary Clinton.
While the world burns. And Trump threatens to hold all of Europe hostage.
Here, though, it rained all day. Rain and fog. And a hailstorm. But we are told there will be sun tomorrow. Our high was 62F.
It's still so foggy I can't see Shades Mountain, across the valley.
I am better than I was yesterday, but not well. I couldn't make it into McWane, a nd I got nothing else done. i emailed Jun and told him I'm just going to stop trying to make it in until after there's more work on these damn teeth, which will be about two weeks thanks to a necessary two week or so hiatus. Tomorrow, I am going to a serius effort at getting back to work on what I can't do from home, which is most everything. I hate writing about this sorta crap, but there's not much else around here to talk about.
Yesterday, I finished reading Thomas Hertog's On the Origin of Time: Stephen Hawking's Final Theory and began Jonathan B. Losos' The Cat's Meow: How Cats Evolved from the Savanna to Your Sofa. Interestingly, Losos specializes in the evolution of lizards, not cats.
This afternoon's film was Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049 (2017). I am also amazed at Jared Leto's magnificent performance.
Please visit
the Dreaming Squid Sundries shop. This would be a very helpful time to spend some money. Don't forget those free monster doodles with
Vile Affections.
Hope that I feel better tomorrow.
