The heat continues. Our high today was 98F, with a heat index of 109F.
And I had another "lost day."
But I did finish reading Susan Casye's The Underworld: Journeys to the Depths of the Ocean, and I watched two documentaries, one on the Greeley polar expedition 1881-1884 and another on the role that rock chemistry played in the formation of life.
I was going to go out for a bit, but only made it as far as the back stars/landing before the heat drove me back inside, a barrier. Rather like the sunbaked brick wall below.
