"Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up." (136)

Day three of constant rain and fog. Our high was 58˚F.

I'm sick of the fucking rain.

And fuck, but I am exhausted.

I slept until 7:30 a.m., the got up and started work on a new story at 8. I did 1,386 words on "Passage of Venus in Front of the Sun." And then I found out that my plan to keep MP2 shelved until after the New Year wasn't going to work, that I pretty much need it to be ready to go out tomorrow, so Kathryn and I flew into a last frantic - yet meticulous - read through, which we did not quite finish. We'll finish in the morning.

So, exhausted.

This afternoon's film was Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins (2005).

Please have a look at the Big Cartel shop, and also, if you are so included, here's Spooky's holiday wishlist at Amazon. Thank you.

Happy Birthday, Shirley Jackson.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast (only one of me),
