"Follow me through the endless night..." (78)
Sunny today. But the high was only 73˚F, and we have a freeze warning for tonight. It should warm up again by the weekend.
I spent the morning on MP2, and it's in better shape than I thought. So, I'm hoping that by the end of the week the text might be ready to submit (though the figures are gonna take a bit longer). With luck, I can submit the paper (which I am now coauthoring with Jun Ebersole, by the way) before the end of October.
Anyway, by early afternoon I was feeling ill, and I said fuck it, put all the editing aside and made a double feature of James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vols. 1 and 2 (2014, 2017). There are worse ways to spend an afternoon. Oh, and last night's Halloween movie was Matt Reeves' Cloverfield (2008). Tonight's will be J.J. Abrams' Super 8 (2011). Also, I think last night's episode of House of the Dragon was the best yet.
