The weather here is getting stormy. Right now, just wind and clouds, but worse is on it's way. We have a wind advisory; currently, we have gusts to 40 mph. Our high was 83˚F, with a heat index of 82˚F.
So, I had plans for the work I was going to so today, but..unbeknownst to us, the landlords had chosen this afternoon to start fixing the gutters and rain spouts. They need it. This place is almost a hundred years old, and it has not been cared for. One of the three-story-tall rain spouts tore loose a while back and went crashing to the ground. But the workmen...they had the crane, and this constantly intolerable beeping for hours and hours. And at one point, they were dangling in in the air write outside my second-floor office window. I couldn't concentrate on anything. About all I really managed was an email exchange with Bill about the ToC on a forthcoming SubPress TBA.
Spooky did manage to do some stuff at
the Big Cartel shop. You can now purchase Sirenia Digest Year 2 ("the pink year").
This afternoon's comfort movie was George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).
By the way, I had no idea Dune had one six Oscars until this afternoon. Booya!
