Tail Toucher

Cloudy all day. Rainy. Cold. Our low last night was, I think, 41˚F. Our high today was about 40˚F. I think.

It could have been a worse day. I did a little bit with the geology section of the turtle paper, mostly tracking down references. I watched a documentary about megafloods caused by glacial lakes and another about the 1974 Tornado Super Outbreak, which I actually lived through. I was nine. Spooky made black-eyed peas, turnip greens, and corn muffins for dinner. I had a long Zoom call with Sonya after dinner, and it was the first time we'd seen each other since the summer of 2020. Mostly, we talked about The Night Watchers.

I have come to understand how I am all but entirely overwhelmed.

And, in this place and in this time, there is no remedy.

Kathryn and I finished Dexter: New Blood last night, and I loved it. But I am not going to risk spoiling it for anyone, so that's all I'll say. Tonight we finished Season One of Yellowjackets, which has wildly exceeded my expectations.

Oh, Kathryn's getting eBay going again, so here are the current auctions.
