"Lord, what will become of me once I've lost my novelty?"

Warm enough today that we opened the windows for most of the afternoon. Sunny, with a high of 74˚F. It's still 73˚F.

I'm gonna miss this Southern sun.

I actually 2,631 words on The Night Watchers today, which is about as good as it ever gets (and it only gets that good once every three or four years). Tomorrow, I'm gonna step back and read everything I've done so far, line edit, see if I'm on track. I have reached the point where I'm terrified it all crap, which always happens.

I also signed eBay books and got a bio and author's photo out to SubPress for the new editions of From Weird and Distant Shores.

This morning, I finsihed the reread of Dune and began rereading Dune Messiah.

The afternoon's comfort movie was David Leitch's Atomic Blonde (2017). I truly adore this film. That fight scene towards the end, the one of the stars, it is genuine genius - the cinematography, the fight choreography, the stunts, the editing, all of it.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
