One Week In

Overcast and miserable out there. Currently, it's 29˚F, with the windchill at 23˚F.

I think I slept a little too much last night, at least seven hours, and I'm having trouble waking up. But, as with most things in life, better too much than not enough. I did manage to get back to sleep yesterday morning, by the way, but by then it was six a.m. and I only slept four hours.

Yesterday, I got the rest of the way through the line edits on The Dinosaur Tourist, more than half the ms. in about four hours of tedium. Today, I have to write the story notes and various other things.

I have not left the property since January 20th, and I've only left the house to help Spooky bring in groceries, and I've only done that twice. This is bad even for me. Or it's good. I'm not sure I can tell the difference at this point.

Oh, Providence had some sort of tsunami false alarm yesterday, but we both slept through it. As long as it's not nuclear missiles, whatever.

TTFN,
Aunt Beast
