"Ain't it useless to fight or to pretend it'll all come out right In the end?"

Green autumn, full tilt boogie. Currently, it's 73˚F. Our low last night was something like 51˚F. I sat and watched Harvey on Doppler radar, coming ashore twice, first at Rockport and then again at Coropus Christi.

Yesterday, I wrote 1,806 words on "The Dinosaur Tourist," and I might have found THE END. But I won't be sure until I read back over yesterday's pages today. It's a reasonably hefty story, weighing in at 7,483 words. It will be featured in Sirenia Digest No. 139. "The Dinosaur Tourist" is me speaking in a voice I haven't exactly spoken in before. And it's darker than I expected.

Lydia had the vet yesterday (routine shots and stuff), and we had stewfish and cookup rice and curried potatoes and chickpeas from Pan-a-Day for dinner. The was GW2 and Second Life, more We're Dying Up Here (a show that confirms my long held conviction that there's hardly any difference between horror and comedy), a late trip to Whole Foods, and a little RP.
