So, today, I came to work and realized the girl that had the most seniority at work had quit. Which now makes me the most senior stylist at the salon. So what did I do? I asked for a price increase.
And I got it. I just asked, and I got it. So coupled with my percentage increase last July, I'm hoping to see a nice increase in money. It won't be a big increase, mostly 5 more on my cuts and 10 on my color, but that adds up.
So go me. Honestly, I think my celexa is finally kicking in and taking away a lot of my shyness about asking for things.
I just wish I'd been on my meds many many months ago.
