We got a motorcycle on Saturday!!! WOO-HOO!! Now, I just have to learn to ride it and take the safety lessons, if I can find them! Kris has been riding it to work everyday. I am wondering if I will ever be able to ride it. But, that's OK. He bought it, and I know it makes him happy. He and 2 of his friends went out "looking" on Saturday, but I knew he would come home with one, and he did. It's a very nice looking bike!
Finals are this week. I took my Microbiology final this morning. My professor emailed me my grade (which is technically illegal, but he doesn't give a shit). I got a 94 on the final exam, and an 83 for my final grade. Not bad. I expected a C in the class, so I'm rather excited about the B. Tomorrow I have Veterinary Medical Terminology from 8-10 and Orientation to Veterinary Technology from 10:10-12:10. I can't imagine why we needed a final exam in this class, considering it's only a 1 credit course. Oh well. Thursday, I give my final speech, it's a group speech on the South Carolina Blue Laws, 12:20-2:20.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to wait patiently for my damn computer course grade to post so I can officially be on the "complete list". It's such a pain in the ass. Even though I finished the class last week with an A, the school won't consider me to be "complete" until my grade posts and my GPA reflects that grade. I'm hoping it posts tomorrow or Thursday at the very latest, because I have to print it out and take it to admissions. Otherwise, I'm screwed for a year. Who knows, I could be screwed anyway. The way this school operates, not to mention my advisor, it's all a big scam. I get a different story every week, and that's frustrating. Oh well. I am trying not to stress about it. Easier said than done!
Next, we're off to Florida on Thursday evening! The rest of the family is already there, they got in at 11:30 this morning, and were not able to check into their hotel until 4:00. Apparently, when you check in, they give you room cards, but no room number. You have to wait around until 4:00, then call a number where you are given an access code, and then your room number. Not very customer friendly for the friendliest place on earth. And, when you book through Disney, they send you luggage tags. You put the tags on your bags, they (representatives from Disney) collect them at the airport and deliver them to your room. Well, as you can imagine...that's a nice theory but they say it can take up to 4 hours for you to get your bags. So, they have no bags, can't change into a swimsuit or anything, and have no where to put their carry-on bags. Technically they could go to the park, but lugging your carry-ons through Disney doesn't sound very fun to me! Considering we are staying right on Disney property, I'd think they would be better about the check-in time. So, they had to sit in a restaurant inside the hotel for 4 hours. That's 7 adults and 2 little kids. The kids must be dying to go to the park! Poor things. But, I'm sure they will have a blast tomorrow! Hunter can't wait to see Buzz Lightyear and Maddy can't wait to see the Princesses. I just can't wait to go!
Well, that's my update.
