Funny thing happened
So, I posted on Monday about being unemployed. Well, yesterday I got a call from a job, and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse! I start tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. That will be interesting, to say the least. I'll be making $18 an hour (yes, 18) doing data entry for a company called ECP Incorporated. They are the ones that provide add-ons for cars when you buy them from a dealership, such as anti-theft engraving, GAP insurance, road hazard protection, key replacement, and things like that. My technical title is New Business Coordinator and I'll be entering new contracts when people purchase them. It sounds pretty easy and I hope it's fun. Plus, it's like 2 miles from where we live, so I don't have to worry about a horrible commute and I can take the back roads so I don't have to deal with I-55. Hopefully this works out and they'll make me permanent for $40K a year! Woot!
