i won, i won, i won!
rode cy at BWS Mid-summer Classic yesterday. I got 3 out of 4 in my equitation class b/c i screwed up in my workout. if i wouldn't have done that i probably would have been at least 2nd. but my rail work was really good. then in the show pleasure class i won! there were only 2 of us. the other horse was really nice but it didn't canter and cy didn't wear his head the first direction. so i guess the judge (dr. bing crosby) decided that not wearing the bridle for part of the class is better than not cantering on one direction. but i also had the biggest cheering section! the kids at rock creek love me. they think i'm pretty cool which is great! apparently the look on my face when i won was a classic one - i had no idea! and what was really great about the equitation class was that i beat that girl kathryn who is probably one of the reasons why i won't ride at betsy's anymore. and she was riding zeus! i couldn't believe it. what a bitch. all those years that i went to camp out at marilyn's and there were those girls who made my life so miserable - kathryn is all of them rolled into one. but i beat her. on a much lesser horse none the less!
enough of that self-indulgenece. my last day at blockbuster is tonight. i work all of 4 hours but i have to close. luckily it's at 11 and not 12. and my aunt janice comes today. i haven't seen her in years - she lives in california (tahoe) and she just got back from doing a mercyship in honduras. pretty cool. she should actually be here within the half hour. i guess i should get dressed.
