Found Poetry
My creative writing teacher just taught us about found poetry, which is when you make a poem out of something someone's already written. I wanted to write a Sanctuary found poem, but I couldn't find any quotes online!
Angel's Tale
Once upon a time
there was a vampire
the
meanest
vampire
in all the land.
Other vampires were afraid of him
he was such a
bastard.
One day, he gets his soul back.
Suddenly
he's mad with guilt.
It's a
fairly dull tale.
Needs a bit of sex.
So sure enough,
he meets a girl.
Pretty little
blonde thing.
Vampire slayer by trade.
Our vampire falls madly
in love.
But eventually,
they get fleshy with one another.
"Perfect Happiness".
He goes bad
and kills again.
It's ugly.
When he gets his soul back
the second time,
he figures he can't be anywhere near
Miss
Puppy-Eyes
He takes off and goes to L.A,
to fight evil and atone for his crimes.
He's a shadow, a
faceless champion of
the helpless human race.
If you didn't figure it out that was Doyle's dialogue in Angel 1x01, City of Angels.
