(no subject)
My parents are leaving town from July 11-August 2. If anyone is so inclined, I need the following:
Meals (I am no cook, and 4 lbs. of taco meat will only go so far...that is, I'm not sure I can eat 3 weeks worth of tacos)
Company (my dog and cats are great, but they don't talk)
Safety (my dog, although wonderful in all other ways, is NOT a guard dog. In fact, pet her ears and she's your best friend for life. Not a comforting way to sleep at night. Also, my alarm system apparantly doesn't work and I am afraid of the dark)
A fridge (mine is broken as I found out at 12:50 when I walked in the door from Rachel's)
Movie love (I am a movie fanatic and so bring over any flick and I'll probably watch it if I don't already own it and have previously viewed it more than 5 times in the past 3 months) This goes for the oldies, but goodies, such as Labyrinth, Return to Oz, and any other 80's flick, as well as any romantic comedy, any action, or any drama. Not too keen on horror as, well, see above under "Safety"
I think that's it...I'm not sure how these 3 weeks are going to be without the help of big sis...at least I was comforted with another living, breathing human being around. Tim is doing band camps so will not be with me very often :(
