I am so used to being surrounded by scores of other Amys I hardly notice anymore! I've gotten very used to not responding to my name when there's another Amy around.
I'll tell you what's really weird, though: among the five or so other Amys I graduated with, there was a girl named Amy Pond! Trufax! ;)
Haha, yeah, I'm used to being surrounded by people named Amy too, I've just never encountered it so much in fiction, especially shippy fics :)
Wow, I'd never even heard of Pond for a surname before DW, that's pretty cool. Although, if she ever tries to google herself, she'll have to scroll through pages and pages of fannish stuff and fic :P
