I've decided that I have depressingly few friends, despite the many awesome people I fandom with here on livejournal. So I figured, Friending Meme, fun!

I am so used to being surrounded by scores of other Amys I hardly notice anymore! I've gotten very used to not responding to my name when there's another Amy around.
I'll tell you what's really weird, though: among the five or so other Amys I graduated with, there was a girl named Amy Pond! Trufax! ;)
Haha, yeah, I'm used to being surrounded by people named Amy too, I've just never encountered it so much in fiction, especially shippy fics :)
Wow, I'd never even heard of Pond for a surname before DW, that's pretty cool. Although, if she ever tries to google herself, she'll have to scroll through pages and pages of fannish stuff and fic :P
It's true: she has been rendered practically un-googleable. Though from what I remember of her, she was a rather whiny, boring person, so I don't think it really matters!
Oh, I almost forgot: friends? I need more fic-y friends. :D
Haha, nope. I'm CSU. And, remarkably disloyal, but then again, I didn't grow up around here. When I first came here, I was like, "What? There's a rivalry? Over WHAT again????"
Yeah, I'm not afraid to say I care more about Doctor Who than sports. *huggles fandom*
Yeah, don't worry, so do I! I get interested in football every season for about ten minutes, then get antsy when UM sucks (as they have been the last few years) and rapidly abandon ship in favor of apple picking and internet surfing.
But it is fun to randomly hate people from Ohio once in awhile. ;)
Can we be friends? I've seen you around a lot and you've always seemed like such a cool person. Also, I love your fics so I need to stalk ... I mean follow ... you to get the goods as much as possible :D
Lol! I love that one of your favourite shows is Antique Roadshow! It's one of my not-so-secret guilty pleasures! One of my favourite things is sifting through old junk at an antique mall and seeing what treasures I can find. My favourite things to find are old cookbooks or recipe boxes. I once found a recipe box from the 60's and it has a bunch of recipes written on old day planner pages. I use those recipes often. I love anything that has a history like that.
I'm also a pretty avid gardener, reader, sewer, and I'm learning how to knit and crochet. Also... LOVE that you've seen Clue. It was a family favourite while I was growing up... in fact I just watched it at my parents last weekend. XD

OH, and I see you're in Michigan. I'm over here in Ohio, does that mean we get to be arch-nemeses too? J/K. :)
