Sang a few songs (The World is a Wonderful Place; Another Train) at Titarangi folk club this evening. not been there in years so it was really nice to see folks there and enjoyed the evening although it was hot and humid w mozzies after the rain.

went to see La Vache last evening. Managed to get a parking space nearby too!! Now that's pretty amazing, and cheaper! The film was fun and there were laughs around the auditorium and clapping at the end - perhaps led by a drunken group to the right ( Read more... )

I've enjoyed an extra week this summer due to things starting late and being windy etc.
But things have to end and this year the weather is making that real clear!

Brilliant, fun French film tonight - The Bélier Family. Combining things close to my heart, French, sign language and singing! The cinema was packed full and laughing throughout. They even clapped at the end !!!! Highly recommended family fun.
