Yeah, I think it was, followed by taking K to the Te Aroha folk club run by the eminent Phil Garland on Tuesday evening. Sang a few songs and caught up w Jack Penman who I thought I saw at AFF but apparently it wasn't! Lovely songs and some poems too. All rather formal, a bit like being summoned by the teacher to read in front of the class! But no worries. I sang: Sandy's Song; Farewell Farewell & the Weaving Song. There were a few Scottish folk there, more than the average. A lovely gathering to find and finally get along to.
