No vapour barrier, but hey, it's insulated (well, for awhile!)

Walls painted (instead of Seratone(d) as I'd wanted), shower cabinet installed (but one bit is upside down) and old vinyl striped off with a spade!

There was a long delay waiting for the plastered strips to dry (while it pissed with rain for 4 or more days outside).... and then for the paint to dry....hmmmm

This is why I asked for the small room to be seratoned instead... it is quicker and more indestructible when finished. Also little chance of mold. Hmm, so although the room looks lovely and is finished to a higher standard than the living room... It look about 4 days longer than necessary and caused unnecessary dust mess and stress. We had to move out and live at the backpackers hostel for over a week to avoid living in the mess!

If the builder wants to renovate the bathroom after this, then he will have to listen and use seratone to speed things up. He says paint is cheaper than seratone... but then he would cos he gets paid for the time taken painting... but the Seratone is worth 2 or 3 hrs of his labour.

Then we wait over 2 months for the extraction fan to be fitted! So can't use the shower...

But the shower itself is great. Excellent NZ design. Methven Futura.

New vinyl floor and put laundry stuff back in...

Part of the shower enclosure has been put in or assembled upside down...so there will probably be a leak. sigh
