in the span of two weeks, the following happened:

• garbage disposal broke
• 2 toilets began acting up, one became unseated completely
• lights mysteriously came or off
• a/c stopped working

luckily, we have a home warranty and all but one are now fixed.  i was about to freak.

kim and i have been watching nip/tuck non-stop. it was a wild ride to get through season two, but we are 3-4 episodes into season 3 and i must say that it has slowed down to a screaching halt. i like the fact that we have 2 seasons to go after this ( Read more... )

• tomorrow the option period ends and we should be good to go.  if everything goes well and they agree to do what we've asked, kim and i will be homeowners. 
• i learned that they were making a movie out of angels and demons, so i decided to read (listen to) the book on the way to work.  i have been going through a disc a day.  i know i'm missing a lot ( Read more... )

lots of things have just happened or are about to come up:

• house
• car
• sister married
• new quarter (hectic)

last night we signed the papers and visited the house.  everything is pending on the inspections, but the offer is in and accepted.  i am about to have more room than i know what to do with.  i have officially grown up.
