How many ducks does it take to write a joke?
Sunday has turned out to be a very relaxing day. I slept in until around two o'clock in the afternoon and I think that I really needed it. The past few weeks have been exhausting, like laying down the tracks after the train has passed.
I've managed to catch up on most things that have been neglected lately. Not everything, but enough to relieve the minor nagging demons. I may very well still have the minor nagging ducks, but those I can deal with.
My PlayStation 2 gave me more trouble today. The thing has been on its last legs and I really wanna watch movies. So I looked over my finances for this year and realized that they're a bit more healthy than I had previously thought. Hooray! A shiny new PlayStation 3 now sits to the right of the television. I still don't think that I can really justify the cost; but damnit, I wanted it.
My character in the Cast in Shadow game has become even more broken and cheese-tastic. He can look back at any time/place in all of creation (yes, this includes space - albeit with some difficulty), rewrite any mundane traits (attributes, skills, traits), and has the power or ret-con. I try to keep the cheese-factor down with the character, I really do - even with the nick name, "Cheese-man," but other players keep dragging me along on adventures. Well, I'll just have to try harder.
This past week I've been trying my hand at drink mixing. Granted my bar isn't really well stocked, but I've had a book on the topic sitting around for a couple months. So far it has been kinda hit or miss, but it is amusing.
