I can't sleep and I'm watching The Tonight Show reruns. Having insomnia and only being able to get four channels on TV can make for a boring night/early morning. I'm playing around, burning DVDs. I have a bunch of avi files on my hard drive that I need to get off, so I could free up some space. I learned that Nero automatically converts avi files into a viewable DVD format so you can play them on directly on a DVD player. That's awesome!

Nooooo! The SCI FI Channel is not renewing Stargate SG-1 for another season. I just read the news on scifi.com's news service. What a total bummer.

I just watched the space shuttle take off on TV. That is a fitting event to see on the 4th of July.

When the show Deal or No Deal first came on, I wasn't that interested in the show. Now that I have seen a few episodes, the tension has me riveted to the screen. I can't wait to see what's in the cases. :)

My Lord of the Rings DVD just arrived. Yay!

I'm still waiting for Stargate SG-1 Season 2 Boxed Set to ship. It isn't due to arrive until September 10 though. :( I'm so impatient. I hate having to wait.

That's interesting. I have all the patience in the world when I teach, but I'm very impatient when I'm waiting for something.
