[Members of the Marian household, you may or may not be aware that little Lavi has decided to bring home a black shiba inu puppy for a pet. And said puppy is now sitting in the kitchen in front of the refrigerator, staring at it forlornly. And whining piteously. But this is not your typical little puppy whine. This is what is known as the shiba

[And because Lavi is almost certain that one or more of his relatives might be trying to torment his puppy he's quick to arrive on the scene, Hucklebunny predictably at his heels. A few moments later he comes to a skidding halt in the kitchen, falling over the bunny in the process...] Owieee...ha...Envy...what's wrong...you...okay?

[Okay, admittedly, Envy was just trying to get on Cross's nerves. So he was going to whine for food in the most annoying fashion possible. He hadn't meant to upset Lavi!

The Envy-Puppy toddles toward Lavi and licks his face. Hopefully the kid won't end up with a bump on his head.]

I'm fine! I'm just hungry, and no one will feed me!

I'm happy...I thought someone was hurtin' you [because in this house, no one is safe. Lavi pushes himself up onto his feet with Envy cradled in both of his arms] So you're hungry...I could make you a sandwich...

[Don't be surprised if the neighbors pop by and check to see if someone murdered the dog...]

N-No! I was just tryin' to get on your dad's nerves, that's all! [Licks Lavi under the chin for good measure.] Yeah, a sandwich sounds good. With extra meat!

[Lavi's going to have to do a lot of explaining to the neighbors]

Daddy's gonna chase you all around the house. [Lavi laughs as he's licked and then he starts digging through the refrigerator for sandwich meat and bread] What else d'you like on your sandwhich?

[Anyone who owns a shiba inu has to do that. They're the drama queens of the dog world!]

Then I'll have to chew his boots up~♥ [He barks a laugh.] Just meat! Nothing else! I'm a carnivore now, so I need lots of ham and turkey!

[Fortunately they're very cute and Lavi's is attached to his own little shiba inu so it doesn't matter]

But then he might make you leave...and I don't want you to go...[starts putting together a sandwich fit for a carnivore...he might even leave out the bread altogether]...you want me to snatch some cookies for dessert?

[Sits back and scratches at his cheek with his hind foot. He doesn't seem particularly worried.]

Don't worry about it! He can kick my furry little butt to the curb as much as he wants, but I'll just keep coming back. [And speaking of butts... there's an itch that needs to be scratched! The pup whips his head around and starts gnawing at his rear. Envy hopes he's not getting fleas...

But the mention of cookies causes him to perk up immediately!]

Cookies? Oh boy! I want cookies! Bring some from Hucklebunny, too!

[Of course, Envy intends to eat the stuffed rabbit's share of cookies... It's not like Hucklebunny needs 'em, anyway! He could stand to lose a few pounds.]

Okay...I'll leave the bedroom window open so you can climb in, okay? Just in case daddy kicks you out [Lavi doesn't know much about fleas, but he does notice that Envy is itching. He isn't sure what Envy does to bathe but he did ask Willow if they could pick up some soap for puppies when they were out.] Ha...Envy...you wanna take a bath after? I got some shampoo just for puppies...with most-your-eye-zer in it if your skin is dry and itchy.

[After piling up some meat and cookies on a plate he carried it off to his bedroom...not forgetting Hucklebunny of course] I've got plenty of cookies for the three of us...but since Hucklebunny doesn't like cookies he says we can split 'em if you wanna.

[The Envy-Pup whines a bit. Maybe being stuck as a pup for so long has begun to affect his behavior, but for some reason the idea of a bath seems abhorrent to him.]

Yes, I love baths! They're awesome and fun and full of bubbles!

[Aroo? That... wasn't what he wanted to say. At all. Dammit! Something must be wrong with his brain. He can't say anything mean or nasty for some reason...

He'll grumble about it later. Right now, it's Food Time! The Envy-Pup toddles after Lavi, his curled tail wagging at a leisurely pace.]

What a nice and generous bunny he is. No wonder he has such a lean and trim figure! [Ugh... He's complimenting a stuffed animal. A fat stuffed animal, at that.] Where did you find him, anyway?
