this is an excellent [commentary] on the amazing! connection Bush made between poverty and race after hurricane katrina. it also looks critically at the administration's response and future battle plan for the gulf coast. far from boring and surprisingly easy to read, it is more subtle than most in its political leanings, giving concise and logical arguments from a well supported point of view. ah, to be able to write like this. ♥
