This is the first song I ever heard from Godspeed you! Black Emperor. I fell in love immediately. Like the way you love a tragedy. When I listen to it, it helps me remember why I try not to give in to the ease of apathy & let go of compassion. Because this isn't the world I want. And I know of no other way to change this world than to change how I interact with these billions of strangers. These supposed brothers & sisters. I think what makes it the most difficult is that the evidence that most of them simply don't get it. A vast majority never will. Their fighting & power struggling is far too loud for them to hear.
