Okay so this comment is a little late considering the round you entered this for is basically over, and for that I apologize. This post got opened, and I sat and stared at it for awhile and flailed over how utterly gorgeous 09 truly is. Then, at the end of the night, the tab got closed. BUT I HAVE FOUND THIS POST AGAIN FOR WHICH I AM GRATEFUL AS IT IS BEAUTIFUL. /cool story bro.
Anyway, I really love this set. I love its stark, muted, gritty color schemes and texture use. I love its simplicity. I love how you've really used your icon techniques to showcase the fluid nature of the characters, and I love that you've worked in shades of gray.
Your black and white icons are ridiculously stunning. As I've mentioned, 09 is definitely my favorite. I love how dark it is while still being quite defined, and I love love love the grungy texture use. It is gorgeous. I also love 11. Again, dark but defined. All the black and white alternates are beautiful as well!
And, to be honest, I just really adore everything with Ilithyia in it. I wouldn't have minded an entire post of that woman's face, goodness. I love how classy 01 one is. The crop is so elegant, and the coloring is really smooth. 04 is also gorgeous. You're right, the movement of the cap is really lovely, and there's something really sad yet graceful about it.
31 is also really stunning. Gorgeous coloring. The greens and teals are so incredibly lovely. And the lighting is superb!
