These are a bit all over the place, but to be clear, they are all for free20in20, so I consider that an excuse to be all over the place. LOL!
I took a lot of liberties with the themes - sorry - but I was in a really wild mood the last two days (as well as under a time crunch), so I took a lot of cues from conversations I was randomly having all over LJ as well as the leftover weirdness from my last batch of icons. A lot of thanks to MELLOWMINT @ DA for the texture goldmine, as well as PLANTS-BEND-BETWEEN-US . Some music that helped the process along was actually listening to the subject videos, as well as discovering some new artists that I will soon be adding to my library! ♥ GRIMES was probably my favorite. It was weird, beautiful, funky, scary, gothic, and different. I think this might be a new favorite artist for me.

SPRING
These aren't necessarily STOCK spring, but they are something I associate with Spring as I received this movie for Easter many years ago. It is one of my favorite movies, so I chose the spring scene. :)
ARTISTS CHOICE
*My Life - I don't necessarily 'use' it, but however I'm a fairly mellow person most of the day (until I get excited), so I went with My Life's mood. :)
1- I love Katy Perry, I just wish I could do her bright fluffy color pallette justice.
2- I tried the fun cropping that looks broken up - I didn't do too good a job, but eh, it's something.
3-Luckily the Drake caps from Miss Me work really well with a monochromatic look because I wanted something that would work well with a white frame. I credit this inspiration to library_of_sex- her icons are quite inspiring (as well as making me want to icon Drake.)
4-I could not for the life of me do a regular stock icon for Mammal. So instead I did a horsey fashion picture from a Vogue spread. I like how old fashion it feels. I love B&W icons!
5-It seemed destined. LOL! Lady Gaga's video is full of mist, and the pink/fuchsia/purples in that video is really beautiful.
6-Mellow is my personality for the most part during the day as I am normally alone (Husband works for like 12 hours and comes home sleepy.) I'm not unhappy though, I'm pleasant. :)
7-I wanted to just do an all Pale icon, but this pink tone on the bottom looked so right. 'Take Care' video was a perfect subject. Such a beautiful video, that really inspired the gothic/sweet feel for my icons.
8- I loved this fashion photo. I was looking up Chadwick Tyler images for inspiration for B&W icons I'm working on, and I came across this one and felt it fit secret perfectly. It's subtle.
9- I love Christina! I initially wanted to do her awesome spiked shoes, but her video was just the right amount of gothic/kink I needed. PLUS, listening to DIE ANTWOORD inspired this icon. Freeky! ;)
10- Rhianna is such a beautiful subject to icon and I really hope I can do more of her in the future. She has some beautiful videos/pictures out there that are probably a fun time to icon.
18 is especially my favorite- this lung veiny texture from BUTTER PHIL @ DA was worth a try, luckily what it covered is still visible.
