Alex made his way down the halls of the hospital still not quite believing he was there. He was clean now and had gotten some food in him so there was nothing keeping him from his family. It had taken a little work to get through the nurses since he'd only been there for the birth but he was rapidly approaching his girls.
He had some cuts and scrapes but the worst of it was hidden by his clothes and he didn't think Jen would really be seeing those for a while. He was nervous as he knocked on the door of the hospital room, waiting for permission to enter.
