I have been thinking about shipping lately and I kind of want to compose a bit of meta about it. Would anybody read it? Or is meta inherently pretentious? I know a lot of it sure comes off that way. But I still want to try. Shipping is one of the most odd and interesting facets of fandom in my opinion because there is so much emotional investment. ( Read more... )
