yesterday andrew and i both had the day off. that almost never happens so we took advantage of it. i had a job interview in the morning (and i got the job at the inn, i start on wed), then we went out to lunch to cellebrate. after that we went hiking on the parkway at douglass falls. i am sure that time stopped while we were hiking. i have no clue how long it took us or how far we walked, seemed like hours and miles. the trail to douglas falls is amaizingly beautiful. its got that tall whispy grass that i love and rocks everywhere, the big kind that trees grow on top of. we were the only hikers all day. it was amaizing. then when we got to the falls it was all a bung or rocks covered with moss making little pools of foot and a half deep watter for about fifty or sixty feet sloping down the mountain. climbing up and down the rocks was the most fun. im so depressed that my camera was broken and i didnt get any pictures of it. but i plan to fix my camera soon and when i do im going back there to take pictures. it is simply amaizing. it fills you with a sense of being(as i said) outside of time. i was washed over with a million paintings to pain, stories to tell. amaizing
