I try not to be a boob Nazi but damn, If you can't afford to feed your baby at the very least, if for nothing else, the boobs are free!

Stupid iPhone.

And she apparently ignores the WIC counseling, because I clearly remember being told not to dilute the formula (and to call if my child's needs increased before our next appointment) when I was a WIC recipient eight years ago.

You had to go on WIC even though Robert was in the Air Force? That's awful. You would think the government would do better than that. I mean, having been enlisted I know the pay is shit, but I dunno, I just thought they'd do better than that.

I call BS on this lady. We used WIC when Laurel was a baby and at every appointment we were told not to dilute the formula and to call if we had problems getting enough to eat, because they could help people find and apply for other forms of food assistance.

Also, Wal-Mart store brand formula (Parents' Choice) is very affordable. It was a third to half less than brand-name formula back when I priced it.

Is that why it's off the shelves? I had no idea! I thought it was because it's so expensive!

If this is the same woman I saw on TV last week she's too dumb to care for children.

About 6 years ago, when my nephew was an infant, my Mom kept insisting that my sister give him water and my sister pointed out to her that not only did his pediatrician say not to do it but a warning was printed on the damn can.

Also, if I had a baby and was hungry not only would I whip out the boob but I would go to a church, a clinic or any other social service agency. Everyone is a sucker for babies, no one is going to let one starve.
